Viettel routers also incorporate TP Link devices. However, changing the Viettel WiFi password differs from changing the RE305 WiFi password. Because the RE305 isn't a router but a signal extender, RE305 users need to connect it to a modem to broadcast WiFi. Thus, knowledge of changing the Viettel WiFi password applies only to TP Link modems. To change the RE305 WiFi password, follow the method below.
Steps to Change Your RE305 WiFi Password:
Step 1: Use any browser like Google Chrome or Firefox on your computer or phone to change the RE305 WiFi password. In the browser, enter the address: 192.168.1.1 into the URL bar.
You need to enter Username and Password
The default username and password for TP Link products are:
User: admin
Password: admin
Once you've entered the details, press Login to log in and change the TP-link RE305 WiFi password.
In the WiFi RE305 configuration interface, select Settings, then click on Wireless. Next, choose Wireless Settings.
Step 2: In the Wireless interface of the TP-link RE305 WiFi router, select the appropriate Security option, typically WPA/WPA2.
Then, set the password for this frequency in the Password section. Finally, press Save to save the newly changed RE305 WiFi password.
Step 3: To complete saving the new RE305 WiFi password, press the Reboot button. Then select Yes to immediately reset the RE305 modem.
Wait for the RE305 signal extender to restart; once it reaches 100% loading, the signal extender will reboot.
Now, simply enter the new password to reconnect to the RE305 WiFi.
That's just how to change the TP Link signal extender password. However, to change the TP Link WiFi password, you need to apply a different method. Some Router models still use the old TP Link configuration interface, so users need to change the TP Link WiFi password this way. However, for newer models like RE305, the method to change the RE305 WiFi password can be applied to those TP Link modems.
