To change your Skype avatar, you probably need to have a Skype account, right? If you don't have one yet, let's create a Skype account now.

Step 1
Alternatively, from the Start Menu in the Search Programs and files section, enter the keyword Skype, and the search results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2: From the utility toolbar, click Skype --> Profile ---> Avatar...
Step 3: A window will appear allowing you to replace your current avatar with any image stored on your computer.
Click Browser to choose the folder containing the image you want to set as your avatar.
Step 4: After selecting the suitable image, click Open to close the window.
Step 5: Resize the image by holding the mouse on the circular icon with the arrow as shown below.
Click Use this picture to apply the image.
Once you've chosen the image and adjusted its size, your profile picture will immediately display in your account as shown below.
Changing your profile picture is one of the initial steps when using Skype. Your avatar not only represents you but also reflects your personality through each image.
