Checking the network or testing network speed of VNPT, FPT, VIETTEL, CMC is a way for us to determine our network usage speed, including download, upload, or ping.
Guide to Checking Network Speeds of VNPT, FPT, Viettel, CMC
If you experience slow network speed or sluggish internet connectivity due to undersea cable breaks, you can follow the steps outlined in the article fix slow network. Hereafter, Mytour will guide you through checking VNPT, FPT, VIETTEL, CMC network, Download, Upload, Ping speeds.
Check VNPT, FPT, VIETTEL, CMC Network, Download/Upload/Ping Speed
Firstly, ensure that your computer, laptop is connected to the Internet. If not, you need to connect to the Internet via Wifi or use a wired network connection.
The wired network punching method has been specifically instructed by Mytour for you to follow to connect to the Internet via a wired network.
Step 1: To check VNPT, FPT, VIETTEL, CMC networks, you can access HERE
Step 2: At this network checking interface, we look down as shown below
Here we will check the IP address of our network, whether it's Viettel, FPT, VNPT, or CMC. (Example: As shown in the image, it's Vinaphone network). Then click GO to run the network speed test.
Step 3: Now, when the webpage appears as shown below, it's running the network speed test. You just need to wait for about 15s - 30s to receive the result.
Step 4: The program will calculate the network speed of your network package and provide information as shown below
Where Ping: The value represents network access delay and response time. Lower values indicate higher network responsiveness, crucial for online gaming. As shown in the image, my Ping is 2ms.
Download Speed: The network download speed. Divide the value at Download Speed by 8 to determine the maximum achievable download speed. For example, as shown in the image, my Download Speed is: 48.26/8 resulting in 6.0 Mb/s, which is the maximum achievable download speed.
Upload Speed: The speed of uploading data to the Internet. When you upload data, this figure determines whether the data upload time will be long or short. If your network uses ADSL, the Upload Speed may be lower than the Download Speed. As shown in the image, my Upload Speed is 51.18 Mb/s.
Thus, we have successfully conducted network checks on VNPT, FPT, VIETTEL, CMC, with fast and accurate download, upload, and ping speeds. Additionally, to improve download speeds on the network, it's advisable to use IDM (Internet Download Manager). IDM is software that allows users to achieve higher download speeds compared to conventional methods. Installing IDM is also quite simple. You can refer to previous Mytour articles for guidance on installing IDM to enhance your machine's download speed.
