Cherry Blossom Viewing Tips at O Long Tea Hill in Sapa
Ideal Time to Enjoy Cherry Blossoms
Depending on the weather, cherry blossoms may bloom early or late, but the ideal time is around November - December.

Directions to O Long Tea Hill
This tea hill is situated approximately 8km northwest of Sa Pa town, along the route to O Quy Ho Pass. From Sa Pa town, travelers should take Highway 4D (the road to Thac Bac Waterfall, O Quy Ho Pass) to reach O Long Tea Hill. After about 7km to the Truong Mam Non O Quy Ho point, inquire for directions and proceed another 500m along a small road to reach the tea hill area.

Admiring the tea hill from a distance, you will often witness moments when clouds descend, creating a mystical atmosphere. The cherry blossom season lasts only a few weeks, so many photography enthusiasts flock here during the blooming season to capture beautiful moments of this flower.

Please note that this is a privately owned tea hill leased by foreign individuals, so visitors are restricted from entering for close-up views. Typically, they can only stand by the roadside or along the way to O Quy Ho Pass to admire the cherry blossoms.
