In the late-year chill, the cherry blossoms in Măng Đen are competing to showcase their vibrant hues, painting the highlands of Kon Tum with shades of pink.
Cherry Blossoms Flourishing in Măng Đen
Cherry blossoms are widely planted in the small town of Kon Plong, Kon Tum province, where the climate is mild throughout the year, with average temperatures ranging from 16-22 degrees. For years, locals have brought cherry blossom trees from the North to grow here. Cherry blossoms have become a charming feature of Măng Đen for many years.

In Măng Đen, you can find cherry blossoms blooming on various streets of the town, in ethnic minority villages, and in tourist areas such as Đakke Lake, Pa Sỹ Waterfall, E Ban Farm, and Măng Đen Đại Ngàn Farm. Cherry blossoms are displaying their colors, dyed in a pink hue that captivates tourists.

The cherry blossom season only lasts for about a month. To fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the blossoms, tourists should arrange their time to visit Măng Đen in the weeks leading up to Tet.

To capture beautiful photos of cherry blossoms, the two most suitable times for photography are early morning (around 6:30 - 8:00) and before sunset (3:00 - 5:30). This is when the sun is low, casting light on the flowers, making the pink color shine and making the flowers sparkle.

Visiting Măng Đen during this season, besides admiring cherry blossoms, tourists can also enjoy delicious dishes such as grilled chicken with bamboo rice, spicy hotpot that dispels the cold, and stroll along paths through the thousands of pine forests. At night, you can admire the starry sky hanging over the pine trees, shimmering and enchanting.
