How to Get to Cheung Chau Island
To reach this island, you can take the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) from Hong Kong MTR Station to Central Pier No. 5. Here, you will continue your journey to Cheung Chau Island by ferry. The total travel time will be around 35 minutes to 1 hour depending on your departure time and the MTR and ferry schedule.

- Monday to Saturday: Last ferry back to the center departs at 11:45 PM.
- Sunday and public holidays: Last ferry back to the center departs at 11:30 PM.

Mini Great Wall is a renowned spot located just behind Kwun Yam Wan Beach. It's a stone-paved trail with a total length of 850 meters, running alongside the coastline. North Observation Tower
North Observation Tower on Cheung Chau Island is situated at the highest point on the island, residing directly above Mini Great Wall. When here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Cheung Chau Island and the unique tombolo landscape of the island. On clear days, visitors can also catch a glimpse of Lamma Island and Thanh Ma Bridge. Tan Hung Street and North Sha
In recent years, Tan Hung Street and North Sha on the island have undergone revitalization, becoming rejuvenated thanks to the influx of young generations moving here to live. Additionally, they can indulge in quality breakfast items including pastries, tea, and especially 'lucky buns'. Yuk Hui Temple
Yuk Hui Temple (Pak Tai Temple) is a Taoist temple built in 1783. This place holds traces of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911) and the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279). Architecturally, the temple follows the model of Qing Dynasty temples with an outdoor corridor dividing the main hall and a spacious courtyard in the middle.
The exterior features traditional gray bricks with intricately carved wooden decorations on the wall murals. Inside, there are shrines to various gods, hanging incense coils, ancient bells and drums, a courtyard with mosaic tiger and dragon motifs. Everything is well preserved and maintained.

- The temple is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily and on Saturdays, Sundays.

Tung Wan Beach
Tung Wan and Kwun Yam Wan beaches are located close to each other, just a 5-minute walk apart. However, Tung Wan Beach is much larger. Upon arrival at this beach, visitors can fully enjoy the lively atmosphere and food and drinks from numerous restaurants or cafes along the beach.
