To keep your lips always rosy and enticing at the gym, ladies need to have the following amazing tricks to make it happen.
Possess healthy and luscious lips
Lipstick cannot work effectively on dry, cracked lips. Unlike skin, lips cannot produce oil to protect them from external damage. Licking lips might provide some temporary relief, but ultimately, it leads to drier lips when hitting the gym.

Lip balms can aid those with dry, chapped lips, but certain fragrance ingredients in them can cause irritation, such as menthol and camphor. Hence, if you intend to use lip balm, gloss (with sun protection) during the day, steer clear of these ingredients, including mint.
Before bedtime or using non-sunscreen lip balm. The next morning, you'll find your lips soft and smooth. Gently use a soft cloth to remove excess and cracked skin. This way, lipstick will adhere better.
Try using lip primer

Lip primer, also known as lip base, is designed to prime the lips for lip liner, lipstick, and lip gloss; helping to prolong the wear time of lip color. However, this type may not be suitable for everyone, as it can cause dryness and discomfort for some users. Besides lip primer, you should also try lip foundation. This trick is extremely effective with bold and thick lipstick shades.
Use lip pencil (lip liner)

In painting, artists enhance the vibrancy and brightness of a piece by layering oil paints. Specifically, they will apply a single-color base using specialized brushes. Apply this technique to your lips when going to the gym. Use lip liner before applying your favorite lipstick to make the color look brighter and last longer. The trick to choosing a lip liner color here is to go for a shade lighter than the lipstick you're using.
Choose the Right Lipstick Shade
Some lipstick shades last longer than others due to their pigment properties. Generally, darker or brighter shades tend to last longer than others. Apart from rare lipstick shades, most lipsticks fall into the following 6 basic colors (arranged in order of decreasing longevity)
1. Red
The color red includes shades ranging from rose and cherry to deep tomato. It remains one of the most popular lipstick colors for decades. All red hues are highly pigmented, especially the deep ones.
2. Plum
Plum encompasses dark shades and merlot wine tones. Some plums have shifted towards the purple spectrum while others lean towards browns, such as fig and raisin. Like most lipsticks, lighter shades have less staying power than darker ones.

3. Coral
From pale peach to fresh melon, any color between pink and orange falls into the coral group. Some coral shades are nearly pure orange, while others are a blend of red and brown.
4. Pink
Bubblegum pink and vibrant red are the two ends of the pink color spectrum. Warm pink shades can have peach tones, bordering on the coral spectrum. Deep hues resemble lavender and lilac flowers. Bright magentas and daisy pinks can last for several hours.
5. Brown
This color family includes everything from light browns to spice shades like cinnamon and nutmeg. These earthy tones have less staying power than brighter colors.
6. Neutral
Sometimes referred to as nude or beige, neutral lipsticks include taupe and beige. These shades tend to be less long-lasting but extremely subtle in that they go unnoticed when fading away.
Choose a lipstick with a long-lasting formula
Lipsticks are often advertised as long-wearing on the label. Such formulas typically contain additional pigments and fewer softening ingredients (matte lipsticks), so users need more time with them. Many long-wearing lipstick formulas contain silicon, a 'neutral' ingredient that creates a protective layer on the lips. Because it doesn't bind with oils in food and the body's secretions, it doesn't wear off quickly.
Moreover, products containing more pigments can also last longer. Traditional lipsticks often contain more pigments than color-changing lipsticks, tints, so opt for them for longer wear. Additionally, there are non-transfer lipsticks, liquid lipsticks that meet the desire for extended efficacy all day long, even when going to the gym, while still maintaining the ideal color.
