The bold move of this renowned gamer has left many in awe, making it challenging to follow the emerging trend
Magic: The Gathering is a trading card game with a significant player base worldwide, boasting 35 million players by the end of 2018. In the game, players take on the roles of wizards, battling each other with magical cards, aiming to reduce their opponent's life points to zero.
Aside from its intriguing gameplay, what captivates the gaming community even more is the thrill of discovering what cards they have in a random deck with varying values. Needless to say, if those are rare cards, players will be delighted.
Cards are categorized by color. There are 4 colors corresponding to 4 different levels: Black (common), Silver (uncommon), Gold (rare) - with a probability of 1/15 to draw, Orange (super rare) - with a probability of 1/100. With luck on your side, you may receive many gold and orange cards in the deck you just purchased, then sell them to other players and make a profit. However, the majority of gamers will only receive common cards.

For economically privileged gamers who also enjoy collecting cards, if luck doesn't favor them, they will take matters into their own hands by actively seeking to purchase rare cards, much like the American singer, rapper, producer, and composer Post Malone.
This guy is a well-known figure in the Magic: The Gathering community, having previously collaborated with the game in the 2022 Friday Night Magic tournament. Despite not having many Vietnamese fans, Post Malone is a prominent singer in the US - UK market with numerous hits reaching hundreds of millions to billions of views such as Circles, Sunflower, Rockstar, Congratulations,...

So it's no surprise with his extravagance when he spent $800,000 (approximately 18.5 billion VND) to purchase a card from Magic: The Gathering. Initially, he kept it discreet and only recently revealed the deal on The Howard Stern Show.
It's known that the card Post Malone bought is called Black Lotus - extremely limited edition and will not be reprinted in the future, making it increasingly rare. What's more special about Post Malone's card is that it bears the signature of the artist Chris Rush.

But that's not all, with the famous singer/gamer owning it, the value of this most expensive game card of all time is sure to increase even further in the future.
