Magic: The Gathering is a trading card game with a significant player base worldwide, boasting 35 million players by the end of 2018. In the game, players take on the roles of wizards, battling each other with magical cards, aiming to reduce their opponent's life points to zero.
Aside from its intriguing gameplay, what captivates the gaming community even more is the thrill of discovering what cards they have in a random deck with varying values. Needless to say, if those are rare cards, players will be delighted.
Cards are categorized by color. So it's no surprise with his extravagance when he spent $800,000 (approximately 18.5 billion VND) to purchase a card from Magic: The Gathering. Initially, he kept it discreet and only recently revealed the deal on The Howard Stern Show.
It's known that the card Post Malone bought is called Black Lotus - extremely limited edition and will not be reprinted in the future, making it increasingly rare. What's more special about Post Malone's card is that it bears the signature of the artist Chris Rush.
But that's not all, with the famous singer/gamer owning it, the value of this most expensive game card of all time is sure to increase even further in the future.
