To enhance web browsing experience for Windows users using Chrome, Firefox, and Vivaldi browsers, support for quickly reopening recent web sessions has been added. Recently, Dominic Maas, the developer of SoundByte, a third-party UWP app for SoundCloud, launched a browser extension called Windows Timeline Support.
Chrome and Firefox finally join the Timeline integration club
The browser extension allows users to access Timeline on web browsers by adding the feature to their activity history, displaying previous web sessions with the Win + Tab shortcut. However, users will need to log in to their Microsoft account through the extension.
Additionally, the extension synchronizes and enables users to reopen tabs open on the browser on Windows devices on other devices, a feature previously only available on the Edge browser for Android and iOS.
