Google is experimenting with a new carousel design that can hold up to 12 pages, but will only display 4-5 pages at a time, compared to 8. This means users will have to scroll to find what they need instead of clicking as before. This change is believed to slightly benefit Discover and Following/RSS data sources.
This new carousel design is part of Google's effort to redesign Chrome, starting with a 'renovation' of the new tab page. Alongside the conveyor interface for recently visited websites, there's another conveyor interface for continuing web browsing, displaying currently open tabs and replacing the previous grid-style tabs.
The new design hasn't been widely rolled out to users yet. Mytour.vn will continue to monitor and update the latest changes and features on Chrome for Android every day to provide you with the most up-to-date information.
