Chrome supports native notifications on Windows 10

For years, Chrome has been delivering browser notifications through its own notification system on Windows 10. However, in the latest browser update released by the search giant, Chrome now supports native notifications on Windows 10.

By adding support for Windows 10 notifications in Chrome, Google is also integrating the browser into the Action Center. This means that the notifications displayed by the browser will also appear in the Action Center, allowing users to have better control over notifications.

Furthermore, users can employ the Focus Assist feature to halt Chrome notifications when busy or working.

Lastly, the browser also facilitates popup window notifications, enabling users to stay abreast of updates. However, at this juncture, users cannot interact or fine-tune these notifications.

Chrome currently reigns as the most popular browser for the web platform, commanding over 60% market share. Despite Edge being the default browser on Windows 10, its market share, which is the beloved offspring of the software giant, is a mere 5%. It appears that all the efforts made by the Microsoft behemoth have yet to be adequately reciprocated.
