A brand-new Rename option has been added to the context menu (right-click menu) of the Files app on Chrome OS, allowing users to rename attached USB storage devices, be it a USB drive or an external drive.
The renaming feature is currently available on the Chrome Canary testing channel, and users can also activate this feature using the CTRL + Enter shortcut on their Chromebook.

In the latest Chrome Canary version, the Files app introduces a new Recent folder, displaying recently modified files on Google Drive, the Download folder, and the Media view mode on Chromebook now supports Google Play Store.

Additionally, Chrome OS Canary testing channel now offers users a new setting called Reverse scrolling for the mouse wheel.
Another feature on Chrome OS allows users to mute and unmute audio on video-playing websites. This setting, named Sound, is directly added to the Page Info popup menu.
