With the addition of new pieces in Clash Arena Tactics season 6.5, the Mutant Giants team has significantly strengthened its prowess.
In Clash Arena Tactics season 6.5, it's quite evident that teams utilizing 4-cost core units are overwhelmingly dominant. Fortunately for the Mutant Giants team, Riot has generously added several 4-cost units to better adapt to the meta, resulting in an impressive climbing strategy. So, what's the blueprint for this 'new' Mutant Giants team? Let's find out.

One prerequisite for building this team composition successfully is acquiring Cho'Gath early. Whether it's from the shop or loot boxes, you should purchase Cho'Gath as soon as he's available. Next, focus on activating the Mutant synergy with Rek'Sai and Kassadin early in the game, as they are both cheap, high-quality units with strong abilities.

As the mid-game approaches, you can temporarily replace Kassadin with Malzahar, who boasts the highest magic damage output. Additionally, Swain and Sejuani are excellent choices due to their combined damage and exceptional defensive capabilities. Furthermore, activating the Tech 2 milestone provides a significant advantage, making it easier for players to secure victories.

At this point, you'll have two options for team composition based on the units you currently possess. If you can acquire at least 5 one-star versions of Cho'Gath and Malzahar, it's advisable to stay at level 7 and reroll for these two units to reach three stars. Alternatively, if you're unable to obtain enough Cho'Gath and Malzahar units, aim for level 8 and focus on utilizing new 4-cost units like Kha'Zix or Alistar.
In the final stage of the match, the main objective for players is to upgrade Kha'Zix and Alistar to 2 stars to ensure both offensive and defensive capabilities for the team. If you're able to acquire multiple Cho'Gath or Malzahar units, you may pursue the ambition to upgrade them to 3 stars. However, it's advisable to choose only one of them due to limited gold resources at this point.

For hextech upgrades, cores such as Unstable Evolution or Mutant Stamp are extremely beneficial for this team composition. Additionally, you can opt for the Treasure Planet core to gain additional loot boxes, increasing the chances of obtaining desired 3-cost units like Cho'Gath or Malzahar. Furthermore, with the inclusion of 2 Giant units, the Reclaiming the Battlefield core is also a valuable upgrade for early game dominance.
Regarding itemization, Malzahar greatly benefits from the Blue Essence along with 2 items that boost magic damage for continuous spell casting. The Neural Network effect further enhances Malzahar's strength if acquired. Additionally, Cho'Gath requires resilience items such as Thornmail, Dragon's Claw... As for Kha'Zix, the Infinity Edge is an essential item for this champion.
