The items below still pack a punch but are no longer must-have components in Clash Arena Tactics.
Electric Dagger Statikk
With the dominance of the Chemistry Set lineup, Electric Dagger Statikk has risen to become the most formidable offensive gear in Clash Arena Tactics. Remember that the Chemistry Set lineup inherently deals a lot of magic damage with units like Lissandra, Viktor, and the Hextech Core also dealing magic damage. Therefore, the continuous magic penetration effect provided by Electric Dagger Statikk is an excellent tool to amplify the team's damage.

However, in version 12.1, Riot heavily nerfed the interaction of the Sweep skill, where every third hit of this ability is now counted as a basic attack, instead of two as before. In simpler terms, Urgot's Electric Dagger Statikk activations will now decrease by 1/3, leading to a significant reduction in damage and magic penetration time. As a result, this item has continuously dropped in rankings and is no longer an excessively powerful offensive gear.
Redemption Chain
In version 11.24, the Redemption Chain quickly gained strength, proving extremely beneficial for teams utilizing the Giant, Duelist synergy, which is currently in the spotlight. This item essentially heals based on the lost health of allies, providing significant advantages to the tanky units. Moreover, offering a buff that reduces area of effect damage by 25% further empowers Giants and Duelists, making them more robust and difficult to defeat.
By version 12.1, the dominance of the Redemption Chain has faded away as the teams revolving around the mentioned synergies have been nerfed. Although the Battlecast strategy remains powerful, the Redemption Chain is no longer well-suited for this lineup. The reason is that most Battlecast units have relatively low defensive and health stats, resulting in minimal benefits from the Redemption Chain. Consequently, this item is no longer as favored as it was in the previous version.
Scepter of the Divine Seraph
If you've noticed, most powerful lineups in the previous version were compositions that required strengthening their power during battles. For example, the Kai'Sa - Idol team needs enough time to pull off the ultimate 2-3 times to deal sufficient damage and eliminate opponents. Similarly, Urgot needs a specific period to attack and gradually reduce the opponent's magic resistance with his Electric Dagger Statikk.

Therefore, items providing additional stats over the course of the match, such as the Scepter of the Divine Seraph, are incredibly potent. When combined with units like Viktor or Kai'Sa, they can sweep the entire arena at the end of the combat round. However, as the meta shifts and lineups with a tendency for quick and decisive battles, such as Assassins and Battlecast, take the spotlight, the speed of the match is accelerated significantly. The consequence is that the value of the Scepter of the Divine Seraph also diminishes considerably.
