Despite entering Season 6.5, the Inventors remain a formidable lineup in Teamfight Tactics.
Lead by Irelia
With the addition of the Inventor trait to Ekko in Teamfight Tactics Season 6.5, reaching the 4 Recycle threshold in this lineup has become much more feasible. Paired with Irelia emerging as a dominant damage dealer, you can capitalize on the Tech Bear buff, boosting attack stats for the entire team, making this unit even more formidable.
In essence, you'll build the core Inventor team with 5 units: Jayce, Seraphine, Ekko, Zilean, and Ezreal. Then, add Gnar and Irelia to activate 2 Offense and reach 2 Idol thresholds. In the last slot, Jinx is the optimal choice for the 4 Recycle threshold, but you can also use Blitzcrank to quickly take down an enemy unit.
Kha'Zix in the Spotlight
This strategy leverages Kha'Zix to easily activate the 2 Assassin threshold with Ekko, dealing significant damage to the opponent's backline. Similar to Irelia, Kha'Zix becomes a true monster with a powerful attack stat boost from the Tech Bear.
However, a crucial note is to include Orianna and Silco in the lineup for optimal performance. Orianna significantly increases attack speed with the Machine synergy and provides a substantial shield buff to Kha'Zix through her skill. As for Silco, he's a powerhouse, helping Orianna cast her skill earlier and allowing Kha'Zix to go uncontested.
Leading with Draven
This is a common playstyle for Inventor enthusiasts who acquire Camille early on. With solid early-game durability, Camille helps players overcome the challenging early stages. Towards the end of the game, Camille triggers the 2 Duelist and 2 Machine thresholds to boost Draven's attack speed, making him the team's damage carry.
In this lineup, Silco remains a strong option late-game, showcasing overwhelming power. However, if you have Infinity Edge and a VIP Draven, consider swapping Silco for Leona or Syndra to activate the 3 Mystic threshold for this unit. Otherwise, a reliable tank like Braum is still the top choice to protect Draven and deal damage.
Sivir in the Limelight
In terms of team operation, the playstyle for Sivir as the damage carry doesn't differ much from Irelia. However, instead of using another Recycle unit to reach the 4-champion threshold, consider adding a Tech unit to enhance Sivir's survivability. Typically, Sejuani is a preferred choice as she also activates the 2 Vanguard threshold with Jayce.
When it comes to itemization, Sivir takes a different approach than the previous three units, favoring attack speed items like Guinsoo's Rageblade and Statikk Shiv. Of course, if lacking Bows, you can still aim for critical strike items for Sivir as usual.
