Design and Appearance of OPPO Find X7 Ultra
OPPO, from budget to flagship, always garners attention and favor from users for its beautiful, elegant designs. Especially flagship models not only look good but also inspire users significantly.
OPPO Find X7 Ultra debuts with an extremely sleek appearance, though not drastically different from the 6th generation, the device remains highly attractive, exuding the utmost elegance and sophistication.
Unlike OPPO Find X7, OPPO Find X7 Ultra only comes in 3 color options: black, brown, and full black. All variants feature a split back design, with the upper half being glass and the lower half faux leather, creating a unique, luxurious, and premium feel for the product.
Perhaps the inspiration for this design comes from vintage cameras, giving it a Vintage look yet still exuding a certain elegance and sophistication. OPPO Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra share the same design language, although there will be some differences.
For example, the Find X7 Ultra will be slightly larger as it features a 6.82-inch display (compared to the Find X7's 6.78-inch screen), resulting in differences in size.
OPPO Find X7 Ultra still retains the distinctive features of the Find X series, such as the durable metal frame with gently curved edges and the beautifully curved display on both sides. The device's dimensions are quite large, measuring 164.3 x 76.2 x 9.5 mm and weighing 221g (OPPO Find X7 standard version is 162.7 x 75.4 x 8.7 mm, weighing 202g). Therefore, the feeling of holding the device in hand will be slightly heavier, especially around the camera module.
On the left side, OPPO Find X7 Ultra is equipped with a toggle switch for toggling silent mode.
The volume buttons and power button are placed on the right side.
At the top, we have microphone holes, sensors, USB-C charging port, external speakers, and the SIM card slot, all placed on the bottom edge.
On the rear, you'll immediately notice the 'gigantic' circular camera module, drawing design inspiration from vintage camera mounts, with 4 cameras evenly arranged. The 'Hasselblad' logo is slightly offset to the left, giving the overall design of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra a much more professional and impressive look.
Unlike the standard version, the Ultra variant is equipped with 4 cameras. Notably, within the top camera, there is a telephoto lens. While the Find X7 has only one camera, the Find X7 Ultra features two sensors within one module.
Camera System
Regarding the camera specifications, here they are:
- Main Camera: 50MP resolution, f/1.8 aperture, 23mm focal length, with OIS stabilization
- Telephoto Camera: 50MP resolution, f/2.6 aperture, 65mm focal length, 2.8x optical zoom, integrated OIS stabilization.
- Second Telephoto Camera: 50MP resolution, f/4.3 aperture, 135mm focal length, 6x optical zoom, OIS stabilization.
- Ultra Wide-angle Camera: 50MP resolution, f/2.0 aperture, 14mm focal length, 123˚.
Speaking briefly about the photo quality of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, although I haven't personally held the device and taken photos, upon reviewing the images below, it's evident that the device produces beautiful, detailed images with vibrant colors. Particularly, the portrait shots are highly artistic.
I hope it won't be long before it's officially available in Vietnam so I can experience it firsthand and promptly write a review of its camera features.
Display of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra
Turning to the front, we encounter a hole-punch curved display housing a 32MP selfie camera, a sizable 6.82-inch screen occupying 90.3% of the front surface, creating a borderless effect to make the device look more attractive and appealing.
Of course, the display quality on flagship devices is hard to criticize. It features an AMOLED LTPO panel with a 2K+ resolution (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) for a pixel density of 510 PPI, displaying 1.07 billion colors, supporting wide color gamut (P3) with an impressive maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With all these specifications, it's sure to provide users with an immersive entertainment experience.
Performance, Battery, and Software of the OPPO Find X7 Ultra
Regarding the performance, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, built on a 4nm process, Adreno 750 GPU, running on Android 14 operating system with ColorOS 14. It can be said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is an extremely powerful mobile chip that everyone knows about. With what it's equipped with, it's certainly hard to hinder the OPPO Find X7 Ultra.
Regarding the battery capacity, it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, sufficient for continuous usage with multitasking throughout the day, accompanied by 100W fast charging, capable of fully charging the battery in 26 minutes.
Should You Buy the OPPO Find X7 Ultra?
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra is launched in the Chinese market with the following prices:
- 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version: 5,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately 20.56 million Vietnamese Dong).
- 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version: 6,499 Chinese Yuan (approximately 22.28 million Vietnamese Dong).
- 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage version: 6,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately 23.99 million Vietnamese Dong).
It can be said that the OPPO Find X7 Ultra is a standout flagship from OPPO with prices starting from 20.56 million Vietnamese Dong, offering strong performance, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, stunning large display, sleek and elegant design.
