Coach Rainer was touted as a marquee signing for the coaching role, capable of revitalizing Team Flash. However, following unimpressive results in recent times, this coach has officially parted ways with Vietnam's most successful team.
On November 22nd, Team Flash's official fanpage announced the expiration of the contract with Coach Rainer after 2 seasons together. This also marks the farewell from the coach who led the team to two world championships. The original farewell message to Coach Rainer:

Despite being a two-time world champion, Team Flash's performance under this coach has been rather disappointing. Specifically, Team Flash finished 3rd in VCS Spring 2022, and reached only the Top 8 in AIC 2022. In the recent Winter 2022 VCS, the team only secured a 5th place finish and missed out on both VCS Playoffs and APL 2022 participation.
Before coming to Vietnam to lead Team Flash, many believed that Rainer, with his two international championship experiences, could bring this team back to its golden era. Team Flash is the most successful team in Vietnam, and going empty-handed for several seasons was surely unacceptable for this team. Moreover, Rainer's departure was something that had been anticipated beforehand.
Alongside Rainer's departure, the position of Team Flash's coach has become the focal point of attention for the gaming community. There are many speculations about who will take the 'hot seat' of the coach. However, it remains quite challenging to predict who will lead Team Flash in the upcoming season.
