Coach Ren once again stirs up the VCS community with new statements about SE.
In recent days, the SBTC Esports incident continues to stir up controversy, not only within the Vietnamese League of Legends community but also surprising international audiences. Many opinions have been voiced regarding the negative behavior of SE players as well as Riot's handling of the situation. However, overall, there is consensus within the LoL community regarding the need for strict penalties against negative behaviors to foster a healthy esports environment. Nevertheless, the information surrounding SE has not yet concluded.
In a recent stream, Coach Ren revealed surprising information about the SE team's internal affairs. Specifically, the former 'Pink Chicken' coach stated: 'I'm telling you, this will be even more shocking. Do you guys know who initiated my dismissal? Guess, everyone. The instigator is none other than Dia1.' Furthermore, when discussing this information, Coach Ren affirmed that he stands by his honor to ensure the accuracy of the information he provides and is ready to participate in litigation if anyone accuses the former coach of slander.
Additionally, Coach Ren mentioned that Vinboiz asserted they would only participate (in SE's negative actions) if the team removed player Slayder altogether. Just a few days ago, after the VCS committee announced the penalties, Vinboiz, DNK, and Nper were among the players who strongly criticized the verdict. Many VCS fans also questioned why Vinboiz was penalized when he had just returned and played for SE in only one match.
However, there are still many opinions suggesting that Coach Ren's revelations serve no purpose other than to attract attention. Because his current statements cannot be verified, and it's certain that the SE players do not want to get involved in further trouble while being the focal point of criticism within the VCS community. In fact, there are even criticisms directed back at the coach himself for disclosing the internal affairs of a group he once belonged to during a difficult time.
Individuals involved have yet to make any statements regarding Coach Ren's information. The incident continues to attract much discussion within the VCS community and is sure to persist, at least in the near future.
