Currently, numerous actions lead to undesired mistakes in our lives, studies, or digital lifestyles, such as errors in charging phone batteries or making mistakes in sending important emails.
Most people use email for transactions, but not everyone knows the most effective way to use email. Therefore, many people often make mistakes when using email.
“We have reviewed half a million emails and found that the open and response rates are consistently similar on weekdays, from Monday to Friday,” he said. However, the difference lies in the weekends. Yesware's study revealed that the open and response rates on weekends... are significantly higher.
Therefore, Bellows advises everyone to send emails on Saturdays or Sundays. “On those days, your emails will have less competition in the recipient's inbox,” he said. If you don't want to work on weekends, take advantage of email service providers that allow you to schedule emails.
Email subjects should be concise
Many people are concerned about the subject line and the length of the email subject. But according to Bellows, there is no correlation between the length of the subject line and whether it will be opened or receive a response.
“When you place a recipient in the 'To' section, it means you are specifically requesting that person to reply to your email,” Bellows said. “When you put someone in the 'CC' section, it means you are putting pressure on the recipient in the 'To' section.
If you don't see immediate feedback, wait a few days
Research shows that 90% of emails receive feedback within 1 day of sending. If you don't receive feedback, Bellows suggests sending another email the next day, which will give you an additional 21% chance of getting feedback.
“Usually, people wait for feedback for 3 to 5 days,” Bellows said. “But the research clearly shows that if you don't get feedback within 24 hours, you should send a new email or make a call. Otherwise, you may never get feedback from the first email.”
