There's much debate surrounding who the 'Second Best Midlaner in the World' is.
In the realm of LoL, Faker is unequivocally deemed the number 1 Midlaner. Not just for his displays in matches, but also for his influence and track record. Numerous debates have ensued, particularly whenever Faker stumbles. Ultimately, people are simply seeking names worthy of being ranked immediately after Faker in the list of the best Midlaners globally.

Hence, recently, another debate has erupted as the Spring tournaments are drawing to a close. Specifically, there's been a poll for the position of 'Second Best Midlaner in the world' gathering renowned names in the LoL community. The results were quite surprising as both 'The Minion Sweeper' Chovy and ShowMaker 'surged'. The player with the highest votes is Scout with 32%, but he's currently competing in the LPL. The player with more votes than Scout is Xiaohu with 41%.

This information has sparked intense debates within the LoL audience community. Many believe that this voting result is reasonable as Xiaohu has shown talent and consistent performance over the years. Although he hasn't secured the World Championship title, it's undeniable Xiaohu's contributions to Royal Never Give Up, Weibo Gaming specifically, and the LPL as well as the LoL community in general.

Both Chovy and ShowMaker have demonstrated themselves over the years. However, at present, ShowMaker hasn't been able to regain the highest form that once helped him ascend to the throne at CKTG 2020. Meanwhile, Chovy still appears 'fragile' every time he steps into crucial matches. That's also the reason why 'The Minion Sweeper' has only clinched one LCK Summer title after many years of battle.

These votes may not be entirely accurate as they still carry a considerable amount of subjective bias. However, it cannot be denied that after Faker, people are truly struggling to find a talented and high-performing player, not to mention professionalism or other peripheral factors.
