Being the brand's inaugural foldable phone, this will also be OPPO's first globally released foldable device. At that time, this device will encounter a significant and unique competitor. So, when putting these two smartphones on the comparison scale, which one is a superior choice for users?

Design
Both phones share a similar design language, crafted from premium materials, including glass on the back and an aluminum frame. When unfolded, this pair resembles normal phones with a secondary screen at the back. When folded, they 'morph' into incredibly compact devices, making it easy for users to carry them around.

However, personally, I prefer the design of the Galaxy Z Flip4 because it has a slim body and a distinctive Bespoke color option. Furthermore, the mobile device also supports water resistance with an IPX8 certification. Last but not least, it has a tough aluminum frame with drop and scratch resistance.

Display
When it comes to foldable screens, both phones share many similarities. OPPO Find N2 Flip features an AMOLED panel inside measuring 6.8 inches, Full-HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,520 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+.

With the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, you get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a similar Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with HDR10+. The OPPO phone has a higher maximum brightness, reaching 1,600 nits compared to the Samsung competitor's 1,200 nits.
However, the most notable advantage of OPPO Find N2 Flip is the presence of a wider external screen, measuring up to 3.26 inches (compared to Z Flip4's 1.9 inches) and a resolution of 382 x 720 pixels.

Specifications and Software
In terms of performance, while OPPO Find N2 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, Samsung equips the Galaxy Z Flip4 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

In theory, while Dimensity 9000+ performance might have a slight edge over Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, many users undoubtedly prefer Qualcomm's processor. Therefore, Galaxy Z Flip4 holds an advantage in this aspect.

Regarding memory, Find N2 Flip boasts 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage with UFS 3.1 standard. On the other hand, Z Flip4 offers a maximum of 8GB RAM but provides users with up to 512GB internal storage. In terms of software, OPPO's mobile runs on the latest Android 13 OS, while its counterpart comes pre-installed with Android 12 out of the box.
Camera
In theory, OPPO Find N2 Flip has a more impressive camera system, including the main Sony IMX890 sensor with a 50MP resolution but lacks OIS, whereas Galaxy Z Flip4 has an older 12MP camera but supports OIS.

Both phones feature a wide-angle lens and a single selfie camera on the front. However, the front camera of Find N2 Flip has a resolution of up to 32MP, while this number on Z Flip4 stops at 10MP.

Battery
OPPO Find N2 Flip comes equipped with a 4,300 mAh battery, significantly larger than the 3,700 mAh battery of Galaxy Z Flip4. It also charges faster with 44W power rating, while the Samsung device supports only 25W fast charging but includes convenient wireless charging.

Price
In the Vietnamese market, both foldable smartphones have a starting price of 19.99 million VND. Additionally, they offer users attractive color options, with OPPO Find N2 Flip in Misty Purple and Smoke Black, and Galaxy Z Flip4 in Gold, Purple, Gray, and Green.

Overall, despite the lower price, Find N2 Flip outshines its Samsung counterpart in various aspects such as a larger secondary screen, high-quality main camera, and better battery life.
