Common Features between Sony X90L and Sony X95L TVs
It's no surprise that both the Sony X90L and Sony X95L TVs utilize the minimalist One Slate design language. This enables users to experience edge-to-edge screens, expanding display space, and contributes to elevating interior spaces with a touch of luxury and sophistication.
Furthermore, both of these 2023 smart TV models from Sony incorporate the XR Cognitive intelligence processor along with XR Clear Image technology, enhancing noise reduction on the screen and delivering content with clear motion to users.

Both versions of these 2023 smart TVs are enhanced with Acoustic Center Sync feature for synchronizing TV speakers with a soundbar. This integration allows users to incorporate a soundbar system for an enhanced audio experience, catering to all types of sound from gaming to live music, and more.
Distinguishing Features between Sony X90L and Sony X95L TVs
- Size Options
With the Sony X90L TV, users have the choice ranging from small to large sizes including 55 inches, 65 inches, 75 inches, 85 inches, or 98 inches. Particularly, this series is widely available in the Vietnamese market.
On the other hand, the Sony X95L TV aims to offer larger size options with specific choices of 65 inches, 75 inches, and 85 inches. However, currently Sony only distributes the 4K X95L TV series in a few markets and not yet in Vietnam.
- Screen Technology
Screen technology is the most noticeable point of differentiation between these 2023 smart TV pairs. Specifically, the Sony X95L TV employs mini LED screen technology characterized by very small LED bulbs, much smaller than the LEDs integrated into the Full Array screen of the Sony X90L TV.

This difference leads to varying display capabilities on these two screens. Specifically, equipped with mini LED backlighting, the Sony X95L TV achieves better color accuracy and brightness control. Ultimately, users will experience better contrast and deeper blacks with the Sony X95L TV. However, the display capabilities of the Sony X90L TV are not inferior, just not reaching the pinnacle of the Sony X95L version.
Furthermore, Sony also states that this X90L model will receive updates to enhance color accuracy and brightness, with a 130% increase compared to its predecessor, the Sony X90K TV.
- Viewing Angle
The Sony X95L mini LED TV is equipped with an X-Anti Reflection screen, capable of reducing glare. As a result, users will have a more immersive experience, especially during content playback or gaming, with minimal distractions due to virtually no reflections on this screen, unlike typical cheaper models.
On the other hand, according to information updated by Sony, the X90L LED TV model has not yet obtained this feature.
- Audio
Although both Sony 2023 TV models use a drive unit behind the screen to produce sound, the difference is that the Sony X95L TV integrates a subwoofer, providing low frequencies, so at the same sound level, the listening experience through the Sony X95L TV is still more appealing than the X90L version.

Additionally, the Sony X95L TV also features Acoustic Multi-Audio+ function, which shifts sound effects across the screen, creating an immersive experience. It immerses users in each movement in space according to the object's movements.
Summary
The price for the Sony X90L TV will start from 29.9 million dong for the smallest size version (55 inches). Meanwhile, although the Sony X95L TV is not yet available in the Vietnamese market, its price will surely not be cheap, possibly even double that of the X90L series at the same screen size.
Clearly, the Sony X95L TV series is aimed at users who need a premium TV with good display quality and modern technology. Of course, this requires them to spend a considerable amount of money to own the TV.
The Google TV Sony X90L series, on the other hand, offers a cheaper option, suitable for various needs of users.
