Introducing the all-new
HyperRAM
The Apple M2 Max chip now supports a staggering 96GB maximum RAM capacity with memory bandwidth up to 400GBps, a remarkable upgrade from its predecessor. To put it into perspective, the previous M1 Max chip only supported a maximum of 64GB RAM.
This enhancement will empower the latest generation of Macs with improved performance and multitasking capabilities, allowing users to smoothly and swiftly run intensive graphic design software.
Power Efficiency
Apple claims that the new M2 Max delivers 'the longest battery life for Mac ever,' providing up to 22 hours of video playback or 15 hours of web browsing. These figures are nearly an hour higher than the previous M1 Max version.
Other Innovations
Compared to its predecessor, Apple has significantly upgraded the M2 Max chip with various features, including a new 16-core AI Neural Engine capable of performing 15.8 trillion operations per second, a 40% increase over the M1 Max. Additionally, the processor is equipped with the latest image signal processor, which effectively reduces noise and, combined with the Neural Engine, enhances the quality of input images.
