1. Noi Bai International Airport (HAN)
Noi Bai Airport (HAN) is the largest and most important airport in the Northern region of Vietnam. Situated in Soc Son district, 35km from downtown Hanoi, the airport has two terminals: one domestic terminal (T1) and one international terminal (T2). The domestic terminal serves domestic flights, while the international terminal handles international flights. Noi Bai Airport is the departure point for most provinces and cities in the country, as all domestic airlines operate here year-round. Moreover, around 22 international airlines from various countries also have flights landing and taking off at Noi Bai Airport. Additionally, the airport is equipped with modern facilities and amenities such as free drinking water fountains, duty-free shops, phone charging areas, and sleeping pods. To meet the increasing demand, this civil airport in Vietnam is undergoing upgrades and expansions to increase capacity and alleviate overcrowding.

2. Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN)
Tan Son Nhat International Airport, located on Truong Sa Street, Ward 2, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, is the largest international airport in Vietnam in terms of area, terminal capacity, and passenger traffic. With a total area of 850 hectares, the airport is designed with a terminal capacity of 28 million passengers per year. However, according to statistics in 2019, the airport welcomed over 41 million passengers, exceeding its maximum capacity. Therefore, the government has planned to construct a new passenger terminal to alleviate the congestion. Currently, this civil airport in Vietnam has two terminals: one domestic terminal for domestic flights and one international terminal for international flights. There are a total of 5 domestic airlines and over 40 international airlines operating flights at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The airport is fully equipped with modern, high-end facilities and amenities. Passengers can conveniently enjoy shopping, dining, resting, and charging their phones at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

3. Da Nang International Airport (DAD)
Da Nang Airport, covering a total area of 842 hectares, is the third largest airport in Vietnam. Da Nang International Airport is one of the busiest airports on the Vietnamese aviation map. Currently, there are 5 domestic airlines and at least 38 international airlines operating flights to this airport. Statistics show that Da Nang has 16 domestic routes and 25 international direct routes, with a total frequency of up to 200 flights per day. Da Nang Airport has 3 terminals serving passengers, including the domestic terminal (T1), international terminal (T2), and VIP terminal. The domestic terminal has a capacity of serving 15 million passengers per year, the international terminal has a capacity of approximately 6 million passengers per year, and the VIP terminal serves only national leaders and VIP customers. This civil airport in Vietnam has two runways, equipped with state-of-the-art, world-class facilities. Additionally, passengers can enjoy convenient services at the airport to reduce boredom while waiting between flights.

4. Van Don International Airport (VDO)
Van Don International Airport, officially opened in 2018, is the first private airport in Vietnam. Located in a geographically convenient position, 60km from Ha Long City and near the Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai expressway, this airport has the potential for economic and tourism development not only domestically but also internationally. Currently, Van Don Airport serves domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, along with international flights from China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. This civil airport in Vietnam is invested in elegant and modern facilities, leading in Vietnam, with a capacity of welcoming up to 2 million passengers per year. Renovation and upgrade projects are planned for the future to meet the increasing demand of passengers.

5. Cat Bi International Airport (HPH)
Cat Bi International Airport is located 8km southeast of the city center of Hai Phong. Initially used for military purposes, this airport has been officially used for commercial flights since 1985. This civil airport in Vietnam is consistently among the airports with rapid growth in passenger and cargo numbers. Besides domestic flights, it also serves several international airlines with flights to destinations such as Bangkok (Thailand), Incheon (South Korea), China, etc. Along with Van Don Airport, Cat Bi International Airport plays a crucial role as a fully equipped backup airport, effectively relieving congestion at Noi Bai International Airport. With its convenient location and continuous development, Cat Bi International Airport has become an important gateway, contributing to the economic and tourism development of Hai Phong city and the surrounding area.

6. Vinh International Airport (VII)
Vinh Airport is a special international airport in Vietnam as it only serves domestic flights and has no international flights. Despite its smaller scale compared to other international airports, Vinh Airport still maintains stable growth with high frequency. By 2030, it is expected to reach 7 million passengers per year. Despite its small scale, this civil airport in Vietnam operates with a frequency of 13-15 flights per day and has the capacity to simultaneously accommodate 7 medium-range aircraft such as A320, A321, or equivalent. Despite serving only domestic flights, Vinh Airport still plays an important role in connecting regions and contributes to the development of local tourism and economy.

7. Phu Bai International Airport (HUI)
Phu Bai Airport is located in Phu Bai, Huong Thuy, Thua Thien - Hue province. This civil airport in Vietnam carries the intimacy and warmth, reflecting the dreamy soul of Hue. Phu Bai International Airport has a 2700m long runway and has undergone multiple upgrades with modern equipment such as runway extensions, taxiway systems, aprons, night guidance lights, etc., to ensure the best service for domestic and international flights. Currently, Phu Bai Airport is in the process of constructing a new terminal with a design capacity of up to 5 million passengers per year to meet future higher demand for flights.

8. Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR)
Cam Ranh International Airport is considered one of the strategically important airports in the economic development and promotion of tourism in Khanh Hoa province, as well as the South Central Coast region in general. This airport plays a crucial role in connecting millions of tourists from all over to the beautiful coastal city of Nha Trang. Formerly used only for military purposes, Cam Ranh Airport officially converted to commercial use in 2004 due to limitations in size and safety of the old Nha Trang airport. In recent years, Cam Ranh Airport has been heavily invested in with modern equipment to meet the needs of tourists. This has quickly made this civil airport in Vietnam the second busiest airport in the Central region, after Da Nang International Airport.

9. Lien Khuong International Airport (DLI)
Lien Khuong Airport features a special design with vibrant wild sunflower images, the symbol of Lam Dong Plateau, leaving a strong impression on any visitor. As the largest airport in the Central Highlands, Lien Khuong International Airport not only connects air traffic but also promotes the economic and tourism development of Lam Dong province. This airport is located near National Highway 20, about 28km from the center of Da Lat, making it easy for travelers to visit famous attractions in the area. The airport terminal is designed with two floors (for domestic and international flights) with modern facilities, ensuring the best service for passengers.

10. Phu Cat International Airport (UIH)
Phu Cat Airport, also known as Quy Nhon Airport, is located in Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province. It takes only about 50-55 minutes to reach the center of Quy Nhon city from the airport. Interestingly, few people know that the airport is designed in the image of Nam Giao Esplanade - where the annual spring sky worship ceremony of the Nguyen dynasty kings takes place. The architecture of the airport has two floors, with the first floor in square shape, symbolizing the land, housing areas for boarding procedures, security, shops, etc. The second floor is circular, symbolizing the sky, with areas for offices, business class lounges, and VIP lounges. The middle area of the airport is a sky well opening to the roof to maximize natural light. The total design capacity of Phu Cat Airport terminal is about 2.5-4 million passengers per year. Additionally, the airport can serve 600 passengers simultaneously during peak seasons. Besides civil operations, Phu Cat International Airport also plays a role in military training and is the base of the Air Force Regiment 925 under the Air Force Division 372.

11. Can Tho International Airport (VCA)
Can Tho International Airport, or Tra Noc Airport, is approximately 8km from the city center. This airport is considered crucial for the economic, cultural, defense, and security development of Can Tho and the Mekong Delta region as a whole. The passenger terminal of Can Tho Airport is designed in the shape of a traditional Vietnamese conical hat, symbolizing the water-rich region. Domestic and international passenger areas are arranged on two sides, with a green garden in the middle, creating a refreshing and beautiful landscape. Previously, Can Tho Airport mainly served domestic flights to various cities and provinces nationwide. However, since January 2020, the airport has officially operated two international routes to Seoul (South Korea) and Taipei (Taiwan), with plans to expand further international routes in the future.

12. Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC)
Phu Quoc Airport is located in the south of Phu Quoc Island, in Duong To commune, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province. The establishment of this airport has increased the total number of international airports in Southern Vietnam to 3, alongside Tan Son Nhat Airport and Can Tho Airport. Phu Quoc International Airport plays a crucial role in turning Phu Quoc Island into a key economic, cultural, and tourism center in the South. The airport terminal has 2 floors. The ground floor serves arrivals for both domestic and international passengers, while the first floor serves departures for domestic and international passengers. The airport's facilities and services are logically arranged and structured to provide convenience and comfort for passengers. Currently, Phu Quoc Airport operates flights from 5 domestic Vietnamese airlines and approximately 20 international airlines from Thailand, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and more.

13. Domestic Airport
1. Dien Bien Phu Airport (DIN)
Dien Bien Phu Airport is the only and largest airport in the Northwest region. Due to the mountainous terrain, this Vietnamese civilian airport has a narrow runway, serving small aircraft and short flights.

2. Tho Xuan Airport (THD)
Tho Xuan Airport (Golden Star) is located in Sao Vang town, Tho Xuan district, approximately 45km from the center of Thanh Hoa city. This airport has been invested in modern infrastructure and facilities, including terminals, runways, and aircraft parking areas, to ensure the best service for flights.

3. Dong Hoi Airport (VDH)
Dong Hoi Airport is located in Loc Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province. It is approximately 6km from the city center. It takes about 15-20 minutes to travel from this Vietnamese civilian airport to the city center, and you can use a car, motorcycle, taxi, etc.

4. Chu Lai Airport (VCL)
Chu Lai Airport is situated in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, Tam Nghia, Nui Thanh, Quang Nam province. With an area of 3000 hectares, it is the largest airport in Vietnam in terms of area. It is located 80km from the center of Quang Nam and 20km from Quang Ngai. Travelers can use taxis, buses, coaches, cars, motorcycles, etc., to reach the centers of these two provinces.

5. Tuy Hoa Airport (TBB)
Tuy Hoa Airport is located in Phu Thanh ward, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province. The airport currently has 3 runways to serve flights from small to medium-sized aircraft. The distance from the airport to the city center of Tuy Hoa is 10km, taking about 20-25 minutes to travel depending on the mode of transportation.

6. Pleiku Airport (PXU)
Pleiku Airport is situated on 17/3 Street, Thong Nhat ward, Gia Lai province. With a runway length of 2400m, the airport can accommodate medium-sized aircraft such as Airbus A320/A321. The passenger capacity of this Vietnamese civilian airport is 1 million passengers per year.

7. Buon Ma Thuot Airport (BMV)
Buon Ma Thuot Airport is located in Hoa Thang commune, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province. It is one of the important airports in the Central Highlands region. The airport has been upgraded and equipped with full infrastructure to serve flights. After the renovation process, Buon Ma Thuot Airport has a capacity to accommodate 1 million passengers per year.

8. Rach Gia Airport (VKG)
Rach Gia Airport is located at 418 Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, Vinh Loi ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang. This Vietnamese civilian airport has a 2-story terminal with a runway measuring 1500 x 30m and an apron measuring 200 x 76m, with a load capacity of 21.5 tons.

9. Ca Mau Airport (CAH)
Ca Mau Airport is located at 93 Ly Thuong Kiet, Ward 6, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province. The airport's runway is 1500m long, 300m wide, suitable for small aircraft like the ATR-72. The maximum capacity of the airport is 200,000 passengers per year.

10. Con Dao Airport (VCS)
Con Dao Airport, also known as Con Son Airport, is located in Co Ong, Con Dao, Ba Ria - Vung Tau. It is about 14km from the city center, and travelers can commute by taxi, motorbike taxi, or shuttle service provided by hotels/resorts within 20-30 minutes.
