The issue of character skipping, missing characters, or character swallowing is one of the basic errors that users often encounter when typing Vietnamese with Vietkey. To resolve this error is not difficult, you can refer to each corresponding solution for specific cases as follows:
+ Error Typing Vietnamese on Microsoft Office: The main cause is due to Office lacking support fonts, you need to install additional TCVN3 fonts to type Vietnamese normally;
+ Error Typing Text on Web Browsers: Currently, some browsers are not compatible with the Vietkey tool. You can refer to and install other software like Coc Coc for better support;
+ Editing Errors on Photoshop, Zalo, and other software: Similar to the above 2 cases, the reason is that these software do not support the color code table that Vietkey is using. You can use other Vietnamese typing tools like Unikey, Gotiengviet,...

3. Unable to Type Vietnamese Accents on Vietkey
Typically, for this error, there are two main reasons: conflicts between software or inappropriate character encoding, or simply not enabling the Vietnamese typing mode for Vietkey.
If you haven't enabled Vietnamese typing mode, right-click on the Vietkey icon on the Taskbar, select Vietnamese Typing.
For software conflict cases, check if any other Vietnamese typing tools are enabled on the computer? In recent versions of the Windows operating system, the company has also added Vietnamese keyboards for users. However, these tools may conflict with Vietkey, so turn off other software or switch to English typing mode.
If you have followed all the steps above and still cannot type Vietnamese accents, switch to the Telex input method and use Unicode character encoding.
