Situated in Hiep Thanh commune, about 6km away from the city center of Bac Lieu, the Western eco-tourism spot Bird Garden was established in 1986, featuring a rich and diverse mangrove ecosystem. Encompassing around 385 hectares, this conservation area boasts 19 hectares of primary forest and hosts 104 plant species alongside 150 animal species, particularly water birds like storks, herons, teals, and coots, congregating from May to October during the water season.

2. Thao Nguyen Garden Eco-Tourism Area, Can Tho
A cozy dining and resting space close to nature, Thao Nguyen Garden Eco-Tourism Area is an ideal destination during the flooding season in Can Tho. Located in Binh Pho B area, Binh Thuy Ward, Long Tuyen District, amidst a picturesque and harmonious setting with a touch of local warmth and charm.
The garden covers an area of approximately 2000m2 with a main house built in modern architecture along with simple leafy huts lining the water-filled canal, carrying a hint of breeze and aroma. The abundant fruit trees, the serene space amidst the lifestyle of the Western people, and the rustic but flavorful meals undoubtedly offer an interesting experience for tourists. 4. Gao Giong Eco-tourism Area, Dong Thap
Located in Ap 6, Gao Gieng Commune, Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Province, the Western eco-tourism zone of Gao Gieng is deemed one of the standout destinations in Mekong Delta tours. Gao Gieng eco-tourism zone boasts a rich ecosystem with diverse flora and fauna, being one of the paradises of cajeput trees along with various plant species, besides fragrant lotus ponds and 15 rare bird species. The entrance fee is quite modest, only about 10,000 VND, which includes participation in various recreational activities here.
The Gao Gieng area is considered the largest freshwater fishery in the current Dong Thap Muoi region with a large fish output, many bird species congregating here, creating a pristine natural landscape that captivates visitors. The transportation system here is mainly by boat, gently floating on the canal amidst the sound of birds chirping, fish jumping,... increasingly attracting tourists on Mekong Delta eco-tours.
