Prompt: Write a short passage describing mango leaves
Describe the mango tree in the most concise and engaging manner
Composition:
Mango trees stretch out countless leaves, providing shade over the front yard of our home. Mango leaves are not as broad as banyan leaves, nor as small as phoenix leaves; they are slender, reaching the size of an adult's hand. Each leaf grows in a unique position, alternatingly clinging to branches closely, akin to a child tightly attached to its mother. The surface of the leaves is soft, smooth, and vibrant green. Delicate veins run clearly across them, resembling small decorative lines, with the main vein running straight from the leaf's base to its tip, while the secondary veins spread symmetrically like fishbones. The vibrant green color of the main veins stands out. The underside of the leaves is also green but not as deep as the upper side. Young mango leaves are pale green, only gaining a deep green color after nearly a month. During the fruiting season, mango trees bloom with small, milky-white flowers, adorning the lush green branches. Over time, mangoes emerge, large and firm, swaying gently in the light breeze amidst the layers of green leaves, creating a tranquil and marvelous sight.
