REFERENTIAL DISCUSSION ARTICLE.
In today's discussion session, I propose the topic for us to discuss is 'How to use smartphones sensibly?'. Everyone will contemplate, discuss, and present their own perspectives on the aforementioned topic.
Firstly, the issue of using smartphones sensibly is imperative in the current era of globalization. The rapid development of technology and science has made smartphones indispensable to everyone. Smartphones are not just communication devices; they also fulfill individuals' needs for entertainment and exchange.
Based on individual usage, one can observe both positive and negative aspects. Thus, different opinions emerge regarding what constitutes sensible use of smartphones.
In my view, using smartphones sensibly means not spending excessive time on social media. Spending too much time on social media can lead to getting engrossed in platform content, making it difficult to switch to other tasks. Personally, I used to spend a lot of time scrolling through Facebook and TikTok, but I realized that excessive social media use made me lethargic, disinclined to study or work. Therefore, I believe we should minimize phone usage for non-essential activities.
(Everyone shares their own views and reaches a consensus)
After listening to and synthesizing everyone's opinions, I conclude the following: To use smartphones sensibly, we should: reduce social media usage; use phones for work-related tasks; allocate time for online courses; utilize language learning apps.
Hopefully through the above lesson, you can enhance and practice communication and presentation skills in front of an audience on life issues. Additionally, you will learn to participate with opinions and engage in appropriate debate. Mytour is always here to accompany and support you!
