1. Passage 1:
Tomorrow, just like millions of other students nationwide, I will resume school after over two months of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Oh! How thrilled I am, tomorrow we will return to school, reunite with friends, teachers, and engage in valuable lessons. It feels so refreshing, both exhilarating and somewhat nostalgic, reminiscent of the first day back to school. Despite our immense joy in returning to school, we are also aware of the severity of the pandemic. We will strictly adhere to distancing requirements and implement preventive measures to ensure safety for ourselves and those around us. I also hope the pandemic will quickly pass so that everyone can return to normal daily life, schooling, and work.
2. Passage 2:
I was born and raised in a charming little countryside in Nghệ An. In the evenings, I and my neighborhood friends would go to the riverbank to fly kites, play tag, sometimes volleyball or badminton, incredibly joyful activities. The beautiful memories of childhood are built upon the very land of my homeland. Now, although my family and I have relocated to Hanoi for living and schooling, those memories still vividly resonate in my heart. Oh, if I were granted a wish now, I would return to those innocent and beautiful childhood days. I love my homeland, love the people here, and I will forever cherish and preserve the image of that land, and its people, in my heart.
3. Passage 3:
Look there! The red hues of the flamboyant flowers have covered a corner of the schoolyard, the sound of cicadas echoing on every street, and the corner of the street has signaled another summer has come. This year seems like summer is coming late, just last week the weather still carried a hint of the spring chill, but today the summer sun shines brightly, refreshing everything with its radiant, purest coat. Going on a trip with my family, experiencing a lively summer is my plan after the summer break. I hope myself and my fellow students will have a very enjoyable and meaningful summer.
