I. Characteristics of Nouns
Question 1:
Those three buffaloes

Question 2: Around the noun are: Three, those

Question 5: Construct sentences
- Mom bought me a new set of clothes

II. Nouns Referring to Units and Objects
Question 1:
- The nouns in the following sentences are different from the nouns after them, indicating counting and measuring units
Question 2:
- Counting unit nouns change when they carry meaning of units, count. (e.g., scale - replaced by swallow, catty, ton.
- Counting unit nouns remain unchanged when they do not carry the meaning of unit, count (e.g., Child, uncle, piece, uncle, ……)
Question 3:
- It is possible to say “The house has three rice baskets full' because the rice basket is an unclear estimate unit. When using 'very full', it will make the described word clearer about the object
- It is not appropriate to say “The house has six due to the very heavy rice' because six tons of rice is already a specific and large unit, heavy. Adding the descriptive word “heavy' is redundant and unreasonable

- Nouns referring to objects: Rabbit, chicken, toad, cow, ant, ….
Construct sentences:
- The pure white rabbit is very cute
- The three chickens play under the yard when they are full

I. Characteristics of Nouns:
Answer questions:
1. Noun phrase: Three buffalo. Noun: Buffalo (object referring noun)
2. Around the word “Buffalo” there are the quantity indicating word (three) and the specifier (those) standing behind.
3. In the sentence, there are also nouns: King, village, basket, rice, command.
4. Noun represents objects and people.
5. - In the old days, the king was the person at the head of the feudal state.
- Our village now has a market, a medical station, electricity, and concrete roads.
- My mother goes to the market to buy quality rice in preparation for the memorial day.
- The police issued an emergency order to arrest the robber.
II- Nouns Referring to Units and Objects:
Answer questions:
1. Con is a counting unit noun used to count bundles of rice.
Viên is a counting unit noun used to refer to an official figure from the past.
Thúng is a counting unit noun used to measure rice quantities.
Tạ is a counting unit noun used to measure each hundred kilograms of rice.
2. – Three buffaloes = Three buffalo. Can only say: three chopsticks.
– One official = One guy official. Can only say: one little guy (unless there's a mocking intention towards the official)
– Three sacks of rice = Three meters of rice. Can only say: three meters of fabric.
– Six hundred kilograms of rice = Six old men of rice. Can only say: six old men of affairs.
Reason: each counting unit word corresponds to one object during measurement, counting.
3. Thúng is an approximate unit, so thúng is reasonable, as it can be full or empty at times.
Tạ is an exact unit, so when saying six tạ, it cannot be six heavy tạ or six light tạ.

1. Our class has six rows of desks. In front of our house, there is a tall mountain range, and the river next to the village is very deep.
2. Words before nouns referring to people: aunt, uncle, stepfather, uncle, guy, lad...

3. Nouns referring to exact conventions: ton, kilogram, sam, yard, span, bushel...

4. Spelling, pay attention to nouns referring to exact and approximate conventions.
