The Snail Fairy
Once upon a time, there lived a poor old woman
Who made her living catching crabs and snails.
One day, she caught
A beautiful little snail.
Its shell was lazily green,
Unlike any other snail.
The old woman, filled with love,
Couldn't bear to sell it,
So she released it into a pond.
When she returned from work,
She found something strange:
The courtyard was too clean,
The pigs had already eaten,
The food was freshly cooked,
The vegetable garden was green.
The old woman found it strange,
So she deliberately peeked around.
Then she saw a fairy
Stepping out from the pond.
The old woman secretly
Smashed the green snail shell,
And then hugged the fairy,
Not letting her go.
From then on,
They loved each other dearly....

Answer:
Long ago, in a small village, there lived a poor old woman, with no children or grandchildren to rely on. Every day, she had to toil, catching snails and crabs to make ends meet.
One day, she caught a very cute little snail. Its shell was green-purple with beautiful veins never seen before. Admiring the snail in her hand for a long time, the old woman loved the snail so much, she didn't want to sell it. She released it into the pond to nurture it.
Since the day the snails appeared in her house, the old lady noticed several peculiar things. Upon returning from the fields, she found her home immaculately cleaned. In the pigsty, the pigs were fed and resting quietly, not squealing as usual. In the kitchen, meals were prepared with utmost care. Even the vegetable garden at the back was weed-free. It continued like this for days. The old lady, astounded, resolved to find out who had been so kind to help her.
The next day, she went to the fields as usual. But halfway there, she turned back, stealthily hiding behind the door to observe. Suddenly, a beautiful fairy emerged from the well. At that moment, the old lady quietly broke the snail shell and embraced the fairy gently, saying, 'Stay here with me, my child.' From then on, the old lady and the fairy lived happily together, their bond as strong as that between a mother and her child.
