It was through this act that she saved her two brothers, though sadly her father perished. Since then, the locals have sought the Lady's divine protection before venturing out to sea. At the age of 27, the Lady passed away and was posthumously honored by the Tang dynasty as the Heavenly Empress Divine Mother.
