When processing your South Korea visa application, you need to prepare all documents meticulously and thoroughly

2.1 Personal documents

To apply for a South Korean visa, you can obtain the form directly from the Embassy or download it from THIS LINK to fill out in advance. The form must have a passport-sized photo attached, with a white background, taken within the last 3 months, and must be filled out in English or Korean.

2.3. Financial proof documentation

When applying for a self-sufficient tourist visa to South Korea, financial proof seems a bit more demanding than other Asian countries. Specifically, to legally visit the land of kimchi, you must have certain financial capability documentationYour savings account must have at least 5000 USD with a deposit term of 03 months or more. South Korea will issue multiple-entry visas for short-term tourism purposes (C-3 visa) with a validity of ten (10) years for individuals from select South Asian countries with low likelihood of engaging in illegal residence or work in South Korea, such as experts in specific fields including: Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, Professors,..; or those who have studied in South Korea for four (04) years or more as well as those who have completed degrees from Master's level and above abroad. Visa holders granted this ten-year multiple-entry visa can stay in South Korea for up to 90 days upon entry.

For individuals in professional fields such as doctors, lawyers, etc., need to supplement professional certification, original field of work, and a copy.For university professors (head professors, associate professors, lecturers), need to supplement original and copy of employment certification.For private enterprise directors, state enterprise directors need to additionally submit director's confirmation documentsFor students studying for 4 years at Korean universities (including graduates) or above Master's level abroad, need to supplement original and copy of graduation certificate.

5. Visa applicants eligible for 5-year visa applicable in the Vietnamese market

South Korea will simplify immigration procedures and issue multiple-entry visas valid for five (05) years to individuals who are residents with stable income in three (03) major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Visa holders granted this five-year multiple-entry visa can stay in South Korea for up to 30 days upon entry.

Basic documents as required by the Embassy, visa applicants need to additionally provide original household registration and photocopy (If the household registration is not in the three cities mentioned above but living in these three cities, a temporary residence permit is required).
