The alert feature is designed for the MyKID Smartwatch, allowing children to easily contact family members in case of emergency.
To use this feature, parents should first help their children set up 3 phone numbers of trustworthy individuals who can assist. Then, guide the child in using the alert feature with the following 2 basic steps:
- Step 1: Press and hold the SOS button until the screen switches to the SOS icon interface (waiting time is only a few seconds)
- Step 2: At this point, the MyKID Smartwatch automatically initiates calls in a loop, up to 5 times, to the 3 pre-set numbers until someone responds.
To set up an alarm on the MyKID smartwatch, follow the steps below:
- Step 1: In the function menu, press the 'Alarm' icon
- Step 2: Once the screen interface switches to the Alarm section, simply adjust the desired time to complete the process
It's important to note that the MyKID smartwatch can only set one alarm at a time.
Setting up a safe zone on the MyKID smartwatch
Configuring a safe zone is a great way for parents to control the area where their child can study and play. To experience the safe zone feature, users need to follow these steps:
- Step 1: On the map, you need to select the current location of the MyKID smartwatch or the location you want to set as a safe zone by tapping on that location
- Step 2: As soon as the child exits the established safe zone, the system will immediately send alerts to connected devices such as the parents' smartphones.
Capturing photos with the MyKID smartwatch
The 0.3MP camera on the MyKID smartwatch allows you to quickly capture precious moments with ease. The process is as follows:
- Step 1: In the MyKID smartwatch menu, press the camera icon
- Step 2: At this point, simply perform similar actions as taking photos with a phone to preserve those beautiful moments
There are two points to note in this section:
- Users, specifically young individuals, can share captured photos with their parents
- However, it is not possible to send pictures from another device to the MyKID smartwatch
