Note that if you visit in September, October, or November, it's advisable to avoid days with storms as these months are the peak of the rainy season on Binh Hung Island.
How to get to Binh Hưng
There are various ways to travel to Binh Hung from major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. You can travel to Cam Ranh City using multiple modes of transportation, including motorcycles, cars, buses, trains, or flights.
- If you're traveling by plane: Choose a route to Cam Ranh Airport.
- If you're traveling by train: Purchase tickets to the Cam Ranh station.
- If you're traveling by bus: Select the Miền Đông Bus Station (Sài Gòn) to Cam Ranh Bus Station route.
- If you're on a motorbike journey:
+ Travel from Cam Ranh City along National Highway 1A towards Ninh Thuan. Continue along the Binh Lap – Binh Tien route for about 15 km until you reach Bai Kinh – Binh Hung. From Bai Kinh, take a boat to Binh Hung, which takes about 10 minutes.
+ Visit Phan Rang and then move from Phan Rang City by driving to the island via National Highway 702 towards Vinh Hy Bay, about 57 km. At the Vinh Hy intersection, turn left onto the new road for an additional 13 km to Bai Kinh. From Bai Kinh, take a boat to Binh Hung, which takes about 10 minutes.

Given the relatively small size of the island, you can completely explore every nook and cranny on foot to experience the island to the fullest!
By Boat
Being a secluded island, if you want to explore the local fishermen's seafood farms or indulge in freshly caught seafood right at the farming sites, traveling by boat is essential.
