Wonder how Ran will react knowing Conan enjoys privileges as the number one troublemaker.
The name Detective Conan originates from when Shinichi fell victim to a poison called APTX-4869, shrinking him into Conan. To investigate the whereabouts and dismantle the Black Organization to restore his old appearance, Shinichi must live with the new name, Conan. Despite thinking that Shinichi's shrinkage caused him many difficulties, living as Conan actually brought the detective 3 incredibly cool benefits.
1. Witnessing sensitive moments of 'beloved wife' without fear of being caught.
When shrunk, Shinichi seemingly couldn't get close to his girlfriend Ran. However, Conan enjoys all the privileges Shinichi could only dream of. Not only eating and sleeping together but also bathing with Ran numerous times. Moreover, in Ran's eyes, Conan is just a child, so she spoils him instead of treating him like Shinichi, who always gets karate moves from her.
2. Easily evade, approach, and overthrow the Black Organization.
This might be the fanciest privilege Shinichi could enjoy when shrinking into Conan. Because the Black Organization firmly believed they had killed this brilliant detective with just one dose of APTX-4869, only to find out he shrank into Conan. Thanks to this, Shinichi can live as a student while quietly investigating and gathering evidence to overthrow the enemy. It's unlikely the Black Organization can successfully hunt down Conan. Gin never remembers the names of those he's killed, and Vermouth always protects Ran and Conan.
3. Solving cases effortlessly and elegantly without stealing the spotlight from the 'father-in-law'!
With the appearance of a child, Conan easily finds evidence of crimes, gathers information, and avoids suspicion. Additionally, Shinichi living as Conan somewhat relieves his 'father-in-law' Mouri Kogoro from feeling 'embarrassed' about his slightly inferior detective skills. It even helps Mr. Mouri 'upgrade' his detective skills and reputation, truly an exquisitely refined privilege!
