Because of the natural development of the lotus, since ancient times, the people have compared the lotus flower to the noble qualities of the Vietnamese people, always valuing the struggle for survival and rising above in difficult circumstances, temptations to protect their own dignity. Therefore, the pure beauty of the lotus in the national vote organized nationwide by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, finally, the Pink Lotus was chosen as the National Flower of Vietnam.

The dragon represents harmonious weather and is the most revered creature among the 'four sacred animals: dragon, unicorn, tortoise, phoenix.' With this significance, class XX embarked on creating the dragon boat lantern for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

For the body and tail, we used red translucent paper embellished with yellow to symbolize our pride as 'Vietnamese, red blood, yellow skin.'
