1. Presentation about the lotus-shaped Mid-Autumn lantern
Dear Organizing Committee, dear Judges, dear teachers, and all beloved students!
Here I represent class XX to express the significance of the lotus lantern that our class brought to participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival in 201X at our primary school...
''In what swamp is as beautiful as the lotus
Green leaves, white petals mingled with yellow stamens
Yellow stamens, white petals, green leaves
Near the mud yet not smelly''
The lotus - a symbol of the fierce vitality of the Vietnamese people. This is a familiar flower deeply rooted in the culture of the Vietnamese. Although living in stagnant and murky waters, the lotus still blooms and emits a fragrant scent. When the lotus petals bloom, it signifies the expanding vitality of the soul. It represents the appearance of pure beauty untouched by dirt, despite living in muddy, foul-smelling environments. The leaves and flowers of the lotus, despite living in mud, do not stick to dirt; on the contrary, they emit a fragrant scent and have beautiful colors.
The lotus sprouts in dark mud, purifying all impurities to nurture its body, surpassing deep water layers, rising above the water surface, spreading leaves, blossoming flowers, is a patient process of reaching up to find beautiful life. The lotus grows in mud, lives in mud but rises above it to welcome the sunlight without being polluted or tainted by mud. Similar to a person born into the world, existing amidst life yet transcending temptations and not being tainted, polluted by life's flow. Because of the natural development of the lotus, since ancient times, the people have compared the lotus flower to the noble qualities of the Vietnamese people, always valuing the struggle for survival and rising above in difficult circumstances, temptations to protect their own dignity. Therefore, the pure beauty of the lotus in the national vote organized nationwide by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, finally, the Pink Lotus was chosen as the National Flower of Vietnam.
Our class's lantern, featuring the image of a pink lotus, is made from familiar materials. Though simple and plain, it still radiates the inherent beauty of lotus flowers in general, and pink lotuses in particular. We hope that our class lantern will add more colors and meanings to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The lantern competition of our group comes to an end here. We would like to wish the organizing committee, judges, respected teachers, and all students a beautiful Mid-Autumn Festival evening and wish our competition a great success. Thank you and goodbye!

2. Presentation about the second star lantern
Respected delegates, esteemed judges, dear teachers, and beloved students!
Mid-Autumn Festival is not just a children's day, it's also a time for every family member to reunite and bond together. The Mid-Autumn night marks the most beautiful moon, and today, this moment has arrived. Tonight, under the shimmering moonlight and vibrant lantern lights, we joyfully celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with children and youth from all corners of our country. On this moonlit festival night, the XX class presents a traditional star-shaped lantern to add more colorful vibrancy to our beloved school on this special day.
We chose the star shape for the lantern as it represents the national flag of Vietnam, symbolizing the unity of our fraternal peoples. It's also the collective unity of the XX class, as we all come together to create this lantern.
The four points of the star-shaped lantern are made using red transparent paper, while the center is decorated in yellow to symbolize our pride as 'Vietnamese people - red color, yellow skin,' which represents the blood of our fallen heroes who sacrificed for our country's independence and freedom. This allows us to enjoy peaceful lives, education, and growth under the best conditions today.
Although joyous during Mid-Autumn Festival, we never forget the beloved teachings of Uncle Ho: 'Whether Vietnam becomes prosperous, whether the Vietnamese people stand shoulder to shoulder with the powers of the five continents, it all depends on the children's education.' Therefore, we adorned the front of our lantern with the words 'Mid-Autumn Remembers Uncle Ho' and his image to honor the great contributions of our nation's revered father. The pink lotus petals symbolize purity, striving to reach the brightest places, much like the Vietnamese people.
On the back of our lantern, we adorned it with the image of the Young Pioneers badge alongside the words 'Strive for Excellence in Learning,' signifying our class's endeavor to excel in academics like eager young learners. Around the lantern, we decorated it with glittering threads and colorful flowers to add to its brilliance.
Our class presentation concludes here. We extend our sincere wishes to the distinguished delegates, judges, teachers, and students for abundant health and success in studies. May the Mid-Autumn Festival be wonderfully successful. Thank you sincerely!
=> Beyond the significance of Mid-Autumn lanterns, this presentation also highlights the importance of the Mid-Autumn Festival itself.

3. Presentation on the Dragon Boat Mid-Autumn Lantern
Respected delegates, esteemed teachers, and beloved students, greetings!
Tonight, under the full moon amidst the radiant lanterns and the lively atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, with the sparkling lanterns illuminating the colors, our team...we'd like to adorn our beloved school, the school ..................... with the vibrant hues of the 201X Mid-Autumn Festival with the meaningful Dragon Boat lantern.
As we all know, the dragon holds a special place in Vietnamese culture and beliefs, symbolizing the legendary dragon of Vietnamese ancestry. The dragon represents harmonious weather and is the most revered creature among the 'four sacred animals: dragon, unicorn, tortoise, phoenix.' With this significance, class XX embarked on creating the dragon boat lantern for the Mid-Autumn Festival.
For the body and tail, we used red translucent paper embellished with yellow to symbolize our pride as 'Vietnamese, red blood, yellow skin.' This bloodline belongs to the heroes who sacrificed for our country's independence, allowing us to enjoy peaceful Mid-Autumn days, study, and grow up in the best conditions.
Above the sail is the red flag with a yellow star - the national flag of Vietnam, symbolizing the love for our homeland and people.
On the canopy, we decorated colorful paper cranes to express the wish for 'World Peace' and our dream to soar to new heights of knowledge and wisdom.
Hence, the Mid-Autumn Festival is not just about us enjoying the moonlight and frolicking with friends, but also serves as a reminder for us to strive for academic excellence. It's about turning our dreams and aspirations into reality, contributing to the prosperity and beauty of Vietnam.
Our presentation concludes here. We extend our sincere wishes to the distinguished guests, judges, and beloved teachers for good health. We wish all students diligence and success. May the Mid-Autumn Festival be a great success. Thank you sincerely!

4. Presentation on the Star Lantern No. 4
Distinguished guests, esteemed judges, dear teachers, and beloved students, greetings!
Every Mid-Autumn Festival, the streets resonate with the lively melody: 'The star lantern with five colorful wings. Its pole is long and high above the head. Holding the lantern, we sing joyfully. The bright star lantern shines in the festival night! Tung rinh rinh, tung tung tung rinh rinh...' Indeed, the star-shaped lantern has long been considered an indispensable item for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Despite the emergence of modern toys, the star lantern still holds special significance for us children. To enhance the brilliance of tonight's Mid-Autumn Festival, Class XX proudly presents the handmade star lantern.
To craft the splendid lantern for today's Mid-Autumn Festival, we utilized natural materials such as bamboo and some artificial materials like kite paper, glue, ... along with our little hands' creativity. Under the careful guidance of our homeroom teacher, we adorned our lantern with charming patterns.
A five-pointed star lantern resembles the stars twinkling high in the sky on the full moon night of the eighth lunar month. If inside the lantern lies a celestial star, outside it is a full and round moon, eagerly welcoming a splendid festival day.
Looking up at the sky, we can see the beautiful moon and the twinkling stars illuminating the vast expanse of the sky. Under this earthly realm, our moon, our star, is lit by the candle of childhood, carrying countless dreams for the future.
It is a warm flame, the flame of our hearts, showing our respect for the traditions of our ancestors, a small flame illuminating the colors of life, allowing us to roam the streets on the lantern festival night. It is also a flame of hope that next year we will have another lively festival like this year.
The lantern contest part of our presentation concludes here. We would like to wish the organizers, judges, dear teachers, and students a healthy Mid-Autumn Festival night and success for our contest. Thank you sincerely!
=> This is also a remarkable presentation about the lantern, highly appreciated for its significance. Especially, the inclusion of songs in the presentation makes it more impressive. It shows the children's understanding and love for Mid-Autumn Festival songs.
5. Presentation on lantern number 5
With the rotation of the Earth, the Mid-Autumn Festival comes again, and we are excited to play and celebrate. To prepare well for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, since the beginning of August, our homeroom teacher and we have exchanged ideas to decide what lantern our class will make for the festival. After many days of discussion, our homeroom teacher and we decided to stick with the traditional lantern model of our ethnic group, the star lantern, as we often hear in the song 'Carrying Lanterns in August'.
'Mid-Autumn Festival, I carry my lantern to play
I carry my lantern through the streets
Feeling happy with the lantern in hand
I dance and sing in the golden moonlight
Star lanterns with fish lanterns
Swan lanterns with butterfly lanterns
I run with my lantern to the moon palace'
To create a stunning lantern for today's Mid-Autumn Festival, we utilized natural materials like bamboo and some artificial materials such as colored paper, glue, etc. With our small hands, we added creative patterns to our lantern under the guidance of our homeroom teacher.
A five-pointed star lantern is akin to the stars sparkling in the sky on the August full moon night. If inside the lantern is a celestial star, outside is a full, round moon eagerly welcoming a splendid festival day.
Looking up at the sky, we behold the beautiful moon alongside shimmering stars lighting up the vast sky. Beneath this celestial scene, our moon, our star, is lit by the candle of childhood, carrying countless dreams for the future.
It is a warm flame, our flame, expressing reverence for the traditions of our forefathers, a tiny spark illuminating the colors of life as we joyfully roam the streets during the lantern festival night. It is also a flame of hope that next year, we will have another vibrant festival like today.
Our lantern competition presentation ends here. We wish the organizers, judges, respected teachers good health; may the students have a beautiful Mid-Autumn night and may the competition be successful. Thank you and goodbye!
