Blue Abyss pool (translated as: Abyssal Depths) is renowned as the world's deepest pool, plunging to around 50m. This pool is set to be operational within the next 2 years. However, ordinary citizens are not permitted to use it.

Blue Abyss pool holds over 42,000m³ of water, equivalent to 17 Olympic-sized swimming pools or... 168 million cups of tea. With these figures, Blue Abyss will become the largest and deepest indoor pool in the world.

However, Blue Abyss pool is not open to serve ordinary citizens. It is utilized for research, experimentation, and training in various fields such as energy, maritime, defense, and space. Construction is expected to be completed within 18 months from the planning permission. It is anticipated that in the second quarter of 2023, Blue Abyss pool will be officially put into operation.

Additionally, Blue Abyss pool can also be rented as a film set, attracting famous actors to Cornwall.

Currently, the world's deepest pool is DeepSpot, located in Poland. It officially opened on 11/21/2020 with a depth of 45m, equivalent to the total water volume of 27 Olympic-sized pools. The pool is open to the public and is used as a diving training center.
