Where is Ba Ho Stream
Ba Ho Stream is situated in Phu Huu hamlet, Ninh Ich commune, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province, approximately 25km from Nha Trang City. It originates from a spring atop Hon Son peak, 660m high, and stretches over 10km, flowing through a pristine forest ecosystem.
Ba Ho Stream forms a system of cascading small tiers interweaving downwards, creating a cluster of 3 consecutive lakes nestled at varying altitudes, hence its name Ba Ho Stream or Ba Ho Waterfall.
Directions to Ba Ho Stream
From downtown Nha Trang, take either 2/4 Alley or Pham Van Dong Street => Highway 1A towards Ninh Hoa => Drive past Long Phu Tourist Port for approximately 10 – 15 minutes => Follow the signage directing to Ba Ho Tourist Area. Here, cross the road and turn onto the village road as per the signage, then continue along the entirety of the concrete road, after which you will encounter a 3-way intersection where you turn left.
From here begins the section of rugged dirt roads, rocky paths, potholes,…which are quite difficult to traverse, especially during the rainy season when they become slippery and hazardous. However, you can opt for a taxi ride which is convenient, the round trip distance is 60km. Lastly, you need to embark on a 1km jungle trek, then climb over rocks following the directional arrows to reach the destination.

Lake number 1
Lake number 1 sits at the lowest altitude, making it the most accessible body of water. During the rainy season, this lake boasts a magnificent waterfall compared to the others. Most tourists tend to linger around lake number 1 for sightseeing. However, during the dry season, the waterfall diminishes, resulting in less scenic views.

Lake number 2
During the dry season, lake number 2 experiences water depletion, resulting in discolored and murky water as it ascends. However, large rock formations become more prominent, surrounded by lush greenery. The scenery combines grandeur and romance.
Located beneath towering trees, lake number 2 is ideal for resting, dining, or immersing oneself in the cool water. However, this area mostly attracts small groups of young people due to the challenging journey here.

Lake number 3
As you reach lake number 3, you can either return via the old path or venture through the forest following the red arrow signs on the opposite side of the stream. It's relatively challenging but well worth the experience. If you prefer not to explore through climbing, you can simply enjoy lake number 1 or the lower reaches.
At the lower reaches, take a moment to immerse yourself in the pristine natural scenery. Amidst the vast mountains and forests, a small stream with crystal-clear water meanders through various shaped rocks.
