Budersand Golf Course is among the top challenges in German golf. While it may intimidate some, thousands of golfers have played and praised the course for its design, scenery, maintenance, and services.
In July 2008, Budersand Golf Course unveiled its tees. Today, on the expansive 73-hectare land north of Hörnum's marina, golfers can expect a meticulously maintained 18-hole course in a classic linked design. In 2009, the luxurious 5-star Hotel Budersand – Golf & Spa – Sylt was added, featuring 77 rooms and suites. This turned Claudia Ebert's vision into reality.
Impressive Achievements Acknowledged by Budersand Sylt Golf Course
In February 2009, just a few months after its opening in July 2008, Budersand Sylt Golf Club received the award for the 'Best New Golf Course in Germany' from the prestigious GOLFmagazin. Today, this new golf course has established itself as one of Germany's top golf destinations. In 2010 and 2012, it was voted the third-best golf course in Germany.

Only two golf courses in Germany make it to the list of the top 100 golf courses in Europe: Hamburg-Falkenstein and Budersand. “Golf Word,” a leading golf magazine in Europe, ranks Falkenstein at 14th place and Budersand at 34th. Here's how “World Golf” describes the enchantment of the linked course in southern Sylt: “Designed by Rolf-Stephan Hansen on a decommissioned military base, it features undulating terrain along the coastline, bunkers, and immerses you in an indistinct otherworldly setting.”
