II. Sample essay Reflecting on the future generation of the nation
To assess the development trends and future of a nation, it is essential to consider and evaluate from various perspectives and diverse factors. However, one prominent and decisive factor is the youth. The youth not only forms the core force in building and developing society but also determines the decline or prosperity of the nation. Therefore, the youth and the future of the nation are inseparable.
The youth, or young age, is a collective of individuals in their youth, the most beautiful phase of life, full of vitality and enthusiasm. The youth dedicates themselves, dares to think and act, and faces challenges fearlessly; they are the golden generation of a nation. The future of the nation ahead is filled with difficulties and challenges, requiring different demands at each stage of the nation's history. The youth, as the future owners of the nation, must timely grasp and continuously strive to meet the nation's development. Throughout history, the role of the youth in the nation's cause has been clearly demonstrated. Our country has undergone numerous struggles against invasion, with many generations of young people being soldiers, fighters, and revolutionary youth who fought and sacrificed for national independence. Similar to the character Phuong Dinh in 'Distant Stars' or the young man in 'Silent Sa Pa,' they sacrificed their youth and devoted their youth to the cause of building and protecting the homeland. Thanks to this youth, Vietnam is peaceful, independent, and free as it is today. Nowadays, the youth does not live in war, does not fight enemies, but they carry a different responsibility. It is the responsibility to develop the economy, build a prosperous nation, and protect the country from hostile forces.
The youth is the leading force in adopting advances in science and technology applied to life and production. The youth brings positive thinking, constant creativity, and lofty aspirations that contribute to driving the social progress, making the economy more integrated and developed. Today, we are no longer unfamiliar with young professors, doctors, and creative minds who are students. Young talented leaders and globally renowned businesspeople are representatives of the youth aiming for the future prosperity of the homeland. The mission of the youth is first to strive for learning and self-improvement, then to embrace the advancements of the era, dedicate themselves to society, always be ready to work and fight for the future of the country. Alongside this, families and society need to have a correct view of the youth, create opportunities, prioritize policies for their development, and educate consciousness, cultivating both talent and morality in each young individual.
In any period of the country's history, the decisive role in the nation's future of the youth remains unchanged. Our current youth needs to learn from and build upon the previous generation, strive to become role models for the next generation to follow. All for the future of a prosperous, resilient Vietnam that stands shoulder to shoulder with other powers around the globe.
