2. 6% Increase in Regional Minimum Wage from 1/7/2022
* Monthly Minimum Wage:
The regional minimum wage per month increases by an average of 6% compared to the current minimum wage, as follows:
- Zone I: Increased from 4,420,000 VND/month to 4,680,000 VND/month.
- Zone II: Increased from 3,920,000 VND/month to 4,160,000 VND/month.
- Zone III: Increased from 3,430,000 VND/month to 3,640,000 VND/month.
* Minimum wage per hour:
- Zone I: $22.50 per hour.
- Zone II: $20.00 per hour.
- Zone III: $17.50 per hour.

3. Applying Regional Minimum Wage
- Regional minimum wage is applied in each locality determined by the workplace of employees.
- Regional Minimum Wage:
+ The monthly regional minimum wage is the lowest wage for negotiating monthly salaries for employees.
+ The minimum wage per hour applies to hourly wage payments. This is the lowest wage that hourly employees can receive.
+ If paying weekly, daily, or by product or piecework: The wage for these payment methods must ensure that when regulated monthly/hourly, it is not lower than the designated regional minimum wage.
