SE has taken a recent initiative after days of silence despite the cancellation of the VCS Hoàng Hôn 2023 schedule.
In the history of League of Legends (LoL) in Vietnam and globally, perhaps there have been few cases like VCS Hoàng Hôn 2023. A team continuously facing match cancellations without a definite timeframe for rescheduling. The tournament organizers' announcements have not provided specific reasons for the cancellations of this team's matches. And that team happens to be one of the most popular names in VCS: SBTC Esports (SE).

Even as prominent figures in the Vietnamese LoL community start giving their opinions, audiences still don't understand what has happened to the team nicknamed 'Pink Chicken'. At present, while other teams have played at least 3 matches, SE has only played a single match, a loss against GAM Esports. This affects not just SE but all teams with matches against SE.

Recently, on this team's official page, SE posted a lengthy article directly addressing BTC VCS and Riot. They state that they've maintained absolute silence regarding the investigation process of issues related to BTC VCS and Riot. However, due to continuous schedule postponements without clear reasons, SE requests relevant authorities to promptly conclude. SE shares that such cancellations heavily impact the team financially, incurring operational and player care costs. Additionally, SE claims it tarnishes the team's image and affects the tournament with sponsors.

SE's post has garnered significant attention from the VCS community. Many believe it could be a necessary factor for upcoming official announcements to reach Vietnamese LoL enthusiasts. Furthermore, with implications from SE's recent co-ownership, official information from BTC VCS will be a major shock, shaking the Vietnamese LoL scene and potentially extending to the international stage.
