Harper Seven donned a stylish purple two-strap dress from her mom Victoria Beckham's exclusive fashion line during her 12th birthday celebration. However, online critics felt the outfit might be a tad too mature for a tween and likened it to sleepwear.

On July 8th, Victoria Beckham shared a series of Instagram photos from the early birthday celebration for her youngest daughter. “Harper Seven is 12 (almost),” she wrote.
In the pictures, Harper Seven marked her early 12th birthday (officially on July 11th) at a café inside the famous Harrods department store in London, UK.
The intimate celebration included nearly all the Beckham family members, including David, Victoria, Romeo, and Cruz. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz were absent as they were in the U.S.
As the star of the show, Harper stood out in her unique floral purple two-strap dress specially crafted by the Victoria Beckham brand. She paired it with chunky sneakers and a mini Re-Edition 2005 Prada bag worth £950 (approximately 28.8 million VND).
With flowing blonde hair gracefully cascading, Harper appears every bit the emerging young woman. Approaching the age of 12, she noticeably stands almost as tall as her mother when standing beside her.
While the former Spice Girls member proudly showcases her youngest daughter's new appearance, many do not hold the outfit chosen by Victoria in high regard for Harper.
Critics argue that the dress makes the Beckham's 'little princess' appear older than her age and more suited for bedtime than public appearances.
Some criticize the Beckham couple for excessively featuring their children on social media, leveraging them for personal image-building and financial gain. They also call for a more normal, safe life for Harper with increased interaction with same-age friends instead of being confined within the family.
Online comments include: “Oh my, the 12-year-old is dressed like her mom's nightgown. Poor Harper forced to be an involuntary model for her mom. Let the child be a child, keep her away from social media, let her go out and play with friends,” “That dress is completely unsuitable for a 12-year-old,” “Children are not marketing tools for their parents' brands,” “She looks like she's out in her nightgown,” “Doesn't Harper have any friends?”, “They seem like a loving family, but that dress is more fitting for a grown-up girl,” “Odd attire. Looks like something you'd wear to bed”...
