- If it doesn't automatically open a new dialogue box, click Browse on the Save As page.

Click the format dropdown at the bottom of the Save As window. This will display a list of all available file formats you can utilize.
- On Windows, this menu is labeled as Save as type below the File name field.
- On Mac, it's labeled as File Format at the bottom.

Choose Word Document (*.docx) as your preferred file type. This will enable you to preserve another version of the document in Docx format.

Select a location to save your document. Locate the desired folder for your Docx document and click on the folder name to select it.

Click Save located at the bottom-right.
Using Google Docs
