Here's how:
Step 1: Launch the program
If you haven't installed Format Factory yet, you can download and install it on your computer
Step 2: On the Format Factory interface, click on Audio and select WAV
Step 3: Another interface window appears
- Output Setting: Configure the output settings for Audio
After clicking on Output Setting, the Audio Setting interface will appear
+ Under Profile: Choose the quality with options (High quality, Medium quality, ...), select the desired quality. Then click Save As
(Here I choose 5.1 Stereo quality)
Below the Setting table will display the quality parameters of the selected format
After setting the output parameters of the Video, click OK
- Output Folder: Folder containing the output file
You can change this folder by clicking Change and selecting the desired location to save
In this article, I will leave it as default to D:\FFOutput
- Add File or Add Folder: To import the Audio file for conversion

After selecting an Audio file to convert, you will have additional options such as
+ Set Range: Choose to cut the audio, you can select the segments to be cut
After selecting the file and setting the output parameters, storage folder, click OK
To start the process of converting Audio to WAV, click on Click to Start at the bottom of the program interface.
Depending on the file format and size of the input file, the conversion process may be fast or slow. When you see the Completed message at Convert State, it means the conversion process is complete.
