Converting Numbers to Words in Excel with Accounting Helper
First, you need to download the Accounting Helper Add-in, then extract it into a folder.
Instructions for installing Add-in on Excel.
For Excel 2007/2010/2013 versions:
Step 1: Open Excel, then select the Office Button and click Excel Options
Step 2: Select the Add-ins tab, then check Excel Add-ins in the Manage section and click Go
Step 3: In the Add-ins window, select Browse, then add the AccHelper.xll and AccHelperEx.xla files you downloaded and extracted earlier, then click Ok to proceed with the installation.
After you have added those 2 files into Excel, click Ok to finish
For Excel versions 2003 and earlier:
Open Excel, go to Menu Tools-->Add-ins then follow the steps above
Instructions for using Accounting Helper Add-ins
After successfully installing Accounting Helper Add-ins, open Excel
In cell A5, enter the numbers: 123456
Next, simply enter the formula =VND(A5) or =USD(A5) and Enter, and you'll immediately get the result.
Go to the extracted folder above, open the AcchelperOptions file to customize (Image below)
Here you can modify the wording as needed, then click 'Accept' to save (Image below)
