Preparing ingredients (4 servings)

- 1 leaf of aloe vera, about 500 grams (readily available at local markets or supermarkets)
- 200 grams peeled mung beans
- 100 grams arrowroot or tapioca starch
- Sugar
- ½ lime
- 500 milliliters water
- Banana oil (or vanilla)

Step 1: Peel off the green skin of the aloe vera, only take the white flesh inside, cut into small pieces. Soak the aloe vera in a bowl of water with juice from ½ lime and 1 tablespoon of sugar for 30 minutes.

Then squeeze out the sap and rinse again with clean water.

Soak the peeled mung beans in cold water for about 2 hours, then rinse again with water.
