Microsoft's virtual assistant Cortana was initially launched with Windows Phones and is now ubiquitous across all Windows 10 editions. Cortana keeps evolving, and it's no secret that many users turned away from Cortana after user-centric features were removed in the May 2020 Update.
Microsoft pledges Cortana's continuous improvement through regular updates via the Windows Store, and the company has finally tested a new feature proven to be useful for users.

The new feature allows you to use the virtual assistant to open and search for files, saving time navigating File Explorer or OneDrive.
This feature appears in Cortana version 2.2011.26701.0 and above, which is now available for download in the Windows Insider channels via the Microsoft Store.
After updating, you can utilize Cortana to search for and open files by name, files from a specific author, or a particular document type. Similarly, you can also use the command 'Hey Cortana, find my recent files' to locate documents you've recently edited.
However, to use Cortana, you need to activate it first. To enable Cortana on Windows 10, you can refer to the instructions here.

A recent experiment has shown that most Microsoft Office files can be found using Cortana commands, but they may not always work efficiently.
For instance, when searching for a Word document using Cortana, the search process abruptly ends with an error message 'We couldn't find the file'. This error occurs when opening a file that has been detected in the 'Open my recent files' results. However, when searching for a PowerPoint presentation, the PowerPoint file appears immediately.
By default, Cortana is designed to search for files saved directly on your PC or synced via OneDrive with your PC. Users signed into Cortana with their company credentials can also search for files stored on OneDrive For Business and SharePoint, along with files saved on their computers.
Notably, this feature is not yet supported for Vietnamese language operation. Currently available for U.S. English-speaking users, with the potential for improved and enhanced user experience in the future.
In addition, Apple has also announced free screen replacements for faulty touchscreens on iPhone 11. You can find more details in the article here.
