The battle of Pain in the Leaf Village and the showdown with Naruto are some of the most remarkable moments for fans.
Among all the abilities of the Six Paths of Pain, Shinra Tensei is considered the most potent and destructive.

This technique, a mighty power of the Rinnegan, manipulates gravity to generate an unstoppable force. Depending on the intensity, it can shatter wood, bone, metal, and even stone walls. Used defensively, it repels all attacks regardless of size, strength, or weight.
Moreover, Shinra Tensei can be utilized on a large scale, causing devastating mass destruction. The force, combined with its intensity, crushes everything beneath it with a thunderous explosion upon impact.

As seen in the storyline 'The Invasion of Pain,' at its maximum level, Shinra Tensei has the capability to completely destroy the Leaf Village. However, its execution consumes excessive chakra. To perform it, Nagato must sever connections with all the Six Paths of Pain except the Deva Path to concentrate all chakra into it. The aftermath shortens Nagato's lifespan and disables the Deva Path for several minutes.
However, the decision to destroy Konoha stemmed from Nagato's pride, as his initial mission was simply to capture the Nine-Tails. Thus, when Naruto returned from Mount Myoboku, he initially only fought against the Paths of Pain (without the Deva Path as it required time to recover).
Therefore, if we imagine a scenario where Pain refrained from using Shinra Tensei, conserving too much chakra to destroy Konoha, and instead fully utilized the Six Paths to battle Naruto, would the outcome differ?

Firstly, we must remember that when Naruto fought alone against the Deva Path, he was easily defeated, impaled by chakra rods and immobilized. Naruto could only break free when his Nine-Tails power was unchecked, prompted by seeing Hinata severely injured while trying to protect him. Hence, if the Paths of Pain collectively launched an early assault, perhaps Naruto's transformation into the Nine-Tails state would occur much earlier in the battle.
However, assuming the battle unfolded as per the anime, Nagato still needed to resort to Chibaku Tensei to capture Naruto. Yet, Naruto in his eight-tailed Nine-Tails chakra mode would have been capable of breaking free from this confinement.
It's important to note that executing Chibaku Tensei also requires a colossal amount of chakra, hence rendering the other Paths incapacitated, and the ultimate outcome of the battle remains unchanged.
